As a Senior Business Analyst within our Risk Strategy & Transformation team, you will be at the forefront of driving efficiency and simplification across the global Risk & Compliance function and implementing strategic initiatives to enable an efficient function enabling data driven insights.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to identify, analyse, and implement innovative solutions that align with our business objectives.
Your new role
In this role you will:

Lead the analysis and evaluation of complex business processes to drive efficiency and consistency in risk and compliance processes to improve user experienceCollaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.Support the execution of global risk processesConduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform risk strategy and decision-making.Develop and maintain strong relationships and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive effective outcomes.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of risk management. As this role sits within our Group function and has a global impact, the hours will not always fall into the standard 9am-5pm.
You will not be expected to work beyond an 8 hour day, however at times this may need to be tailored to suit timezones outside of Australia, including Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Business Analyst with a strong preference for those specialised in process improvement.
You will enjoy working collaboratively, as we are looking for someone with excellent stakeholder engagement skills who also enjoys the hands-on element of the role.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Proven experience in business process analysis and re-engineering according to industry best practiceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.Experience working in complex business environments across all aspects of an organizationProficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.Prior experience working within a risk or compliance function would be highly desirableLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt would be highly desirable About QBE
