About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract focusing on our Financial Crimes program of work. This is a significant program with multiple complex streams so it is essential that you have experience in this field.

You will be adept at collaborating with various stakeholders and be able to make an immediate impact from day one. We require a very dynamic individual with a strong learning agility, to ultimately deliver great outcomes for Suncorp's customers. Someone who is proactive, mostly self-guided and is happy to take the lead will succeed in this role.

You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs. You will support the Chapter to deliver and execute the Delivery & Transformation Program of Work through discovery and delivery by way of complex process design, staff competency and compliance management.

What you'll do Lead business analysis activities for the Financial Crimes Program, including gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.Work across multiple workstreams within the project, ensuring alignment and cohesion across all aspects.Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions, monitor progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.Proactively identify risks, issues and dependencies and develop strategies to mitigate them.Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives within the project, leveraging industry best practice and innovative solutions.Develop clear concise reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Be able to develop an approach to running key stakeholder information gathering sessions and documentations and present the approach back to key project stakeholders.Understanding the Suncorp business context including the strategy, key systems/process, and important issues/constraints.Documenting "as is" and "to be" processes.Structured problem-solving approach What you'll bring MUST HAVE: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on business led projects; (not BI/back-end systems, nor infrastructure, nor technical BA) in the financial services industry with a focus on financial crimes projects.Ability to work across multiple workstreams concurrently, managing competing priorities effectively.Strong presentation skills- comfortable with talking and presenting to multiple types of stakeholders (strongly desired)Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and trends, with a keen attention to detail (desired)Solid foundation in data systems, including SQL querying and/or Python scripting to drive insightful and strategic decision making (desired)Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.IIBA certification (beneficial) and/or agile certification e.g. SAFe Agile Practitioner (beneficial) What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave optionsInvest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.
