About the role: This is a unique permanent opportunity for a generalist Agile Senior BA with previous experience working on data-related projects. The role will require you to have observability, efficiency, and strong technical skills in data analysis, familiarity with data bricks and data architecture knowledge.
You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.

What you'll do: Create detailed user stories to support delivery. Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently. Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs. Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable. Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work. Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week. What you'll bring: ESSENTIAL: Minimum 4 years' business analysis experience from a large organisation working on significant transformation programs Experience working on data-related projects including experience in data analysis, data architecture and data bricks; experience creating user-stories Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements. Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.
