Job Description Permanent Full Time Parramatta, Sydney Location Business process improvement/re-engineering How will I help?
In this role you will complete senior business analysis for any project or process change request (externally or internally driven) that impacts the Cash & Transactional Banking Operations (CTBO) teams. This role requires you to engage with the internal CTBO business units and external project teams (BA's PM & CM) to complete various analysis activities & deliver transformational changes that impact CTBO. You will work with CTBO Project Managers/Delivery Leads to execute changes across CTBO and utilise your multi-disciplinary skillset across Business Analysis, Change Management & Project Management.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-starter who is adaptable and very comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be proactive in finding information, investigating and problem solving. You will need to be comfortable holding workshops, driving outcomes, advocating for the business and articulating project impacts to senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities? Lead the achievement of Westpac's strategy by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems. Define and manage the requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs. Ensure the project meets the needs of the customer and business and is aligned to the overall strategy. Provide and direct recommendations for process re-design, process improvements and business solutions, enabling transformation of processes, policy and/or information that support Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value. Ensure compliance and best practice. Adhere to enterprise methodologies and processes such as the Project Execution Framework (PEF) and Requirements Development Framework (RDF). Risk management. Ensure project related risk (both project and operations) is within desired levels and that risks are managed according to agreed risk frameworks. Undertake reporting. Lead regular status reporting as it relates to the project, including progress and risks. What do I need? Proven experience in:Business process improvement/re-engineering Data analysis System functional / non-functional analysis Business case preparation Experience working as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst in major end-to-end business process re-engineering or business transformation initiatives. Proven experience as Senior/Lead Business Analyst in major information technology delivery projects ensuring solution enables business processes to deliver the desired business outcomes and value. Experience undertaking facilitation of business solution workshops involving participants from senior management to business users. Experience with Confluence, Jira and Agile. Knowledge and understanding of Financial Services and Banking Operations. Desirable knowledge and skills:Business knowledge of Cash & Transactional Banking Operations Pronto, Lynx, Genproc, Spider, GHS/CHS, Appian, Sharepoint, SupportPoint, Holocentric/Business Architecture Library, Microsoft Excel.
