Seeking a Senior BA to lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for an RCM solution.
5 months contractAttractive daily rateSydney basedExperience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)The Senior Business Analyst will lead the documentation of business requirements and rules for articulation into the vendor's solution, facilitate alignment to engineering standards, assess the change impact on existing processes, document the future state, and develop the test scenarios for validation of systems processes.
The role will work with key stakeholders across the TMP lifecycle to review, validate, update, and obtain approval for the translation of existing business rules, formulas, and technical standards into the solution, and will provide assurance over the vendor's technical deliverables.
ResponsibilitiesLead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the RCM solution.Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to extract detailed requirements and business rules.Work closely with engineers to ensure that all documented requirements align with current engineering standards, safety, and risk requirements.Evaluate the impact of the new RCM solution and processes on existing work practices.Develop change impact assessments and work closely with the change manager to support the transition to new processes and tools, ensuring minimal disruption to current operations.Define and document the future state of processes, workflows, and systems.Design business test scenarios to validate that system processes meet business requirements and standards and collaborate with the vendor team to ensure robust testing of all RCM-related functions.Act as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, ICT, and the vendor.Provide subject matter expertise to business stakeholders to facilitate agreement and sign-off on documentation aligned to TMP lifecycle.Technical CapabilitiesMinimum 10 years of experience as a business analyst, with experience in maintenance and engineering.Demonstrated experience in process documentation, requirements gathering, and test scenario development for systems involving high levels of compliance testing to engineering standards (AS/IEC standards).Demonstrated experience in software engineering with experience in developing both technical and business documentation.Key knowledge, skills, and experienceAppropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a field such as Business and Information Technology, or other relevant field in Business Process Architecture and Design.Proven experience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and methodologies.Strong understanding of the relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.Experience in impact assessment and change management processes within large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.Strong project management skills.Exceptional stakeholder management abilities.Skilled in facilitating discussions, workshops, and presentations with a diverse range of stakeholders and the ability to communicate technical and process requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.How to ApplyIf you're ready to take on the next challenge in your career and you think you can bring your passion to this exciting role, then please click on 'Apply Now' to submit your cover letter and resume.
