Senior Broadcast Officer Hansard Department of Parliamentary Services Ongoing, full time opportunityPoV Grade 5, $106,534 - $117,716 + 11.5% superannuationAbout the role Reporting to the Audio-visual and Broadcast Lead, you will play a key role in leading a small team, and planning and managing resource allocation for committees, broadcast and production. You will help formulate and develop new workflow production processes, incorporate new ideas for creative elements that will improve delivery, and implement and carry out training. You will:
Play a key role in production management, planning the logistics and managing resource allocation for live to air broadcasts, production and committees for DPS and other units within the Parliament.Provide high level technical and production expertise and leadership to the Broadcast and Audio-visual teams, whilst working closely with the technical team within Hansard.Provide operational support to all areas of broadcast and production.Undertake production and direction of key broadcast events and facilitate the smooth running of multiple concurrent broadcasting projects.About you Previous experience with producing and directing in a multi-camera live environment and hands on experience in live broadcasting.Demonstrated previous experience in supervision/leadership.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain key relationships.We offer flexible work options and a range of benefits to ensure your physical and mental health are supported.
