The team Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC.
We are embarking on major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as application modernisation, data analytics, mobility and cloud.
The Digital Applications team is responsible for delivering and supporting portals, integrations, custom applications and digital solutions.
We make use of the latest technology, focusing on developing digital services that will provide the best user experience for our stakeholder groups, with the aim of making ASIC a 'best in class' regulator supporting the Australian financial markets The role Boomi is the chosen platform used to build ASIC's strategic integration solutions.
The platform is a key technology enabler to support ASIC's ambition to become a leading digital regulator with capabilities to uplift existing and new integrations services.
ASIC has an ongoing and significant portfolio of projects on Boomi comprising digital initiatives, legislative changes, and business improvements.
As a Senior Integration Developer, you will be accountable for: * Providing systems analysis, technical recommendations and inputs to project planning, integration requirements and design solutions.
* Developing, unit-testing, and deploying integration services including the service definitions to support enhancements and projects.
* Contributing to the continuous improvements to services, environments, and processes.
* Creating and maintaining integration design document and interface specification articulating the data mapping, data formats and data transformations between source and target systems.
* Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation, development best practices and guideline.
* Performing day-to-day operational activities such as health check, incident and problem resolution, release, and change management.
* Providing advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to junior staff as required.
* Working collaboratively across IT teams and with stakeholders to meet desired outcomes within timeframes set.
About you * A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.
* 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying integration solutions using Boomi or other leading integration platforms (e. g MuleSoft, SOA, WebMethods, TIBCO).
* 5+ years of experience with Web services and API (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT).
* Experience in designing API using SwaggerHub.
* Experience with ReadyAPI testing platform.
* Experience with AWS API Gateway is a plus.
* Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
* Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and agile development, including the use of agile management tools such as TFS, GIT, JIRA.
* Experience using CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, automated unit testing.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
