We are currently looking for a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team.
Senior Bookkeeper Responsibilities include: Assist with supporting our clients and helping them manage their business financesComplete bookkeeping and BAS work for our clients, including payroll and superannuationPreparation of monthly, quarterly and EOFY accountsSupervise and review workflow of other junior bookkeepersLiaising with clients and statutory authoritiesOther bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivabe/payableComplex one-off tasksTraining of offshore staffEnsuring timely delivery of servicesAssisting Tax & Accounting team as requiredEffective account management, engagement & billingOur ideal candidate: 6+ years bookkeeping, BAS and payroll experienceHigh level of experience with using xero Strong reconciliation skills and the ability to reconcile the balance sheetAbility to manage and review their work Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principlesFlexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work demandsAbility to solve problems and provide practical solutionsAbility to work autonomouslyWhat we're offering: Flexible working arrangements availableIdeally fulltime, but would consider part time (0.8 FTE) negotiableHybrid work scheduele availableEquipment provided for WFH set upSupportive and inclusive work environmentIf this sounds like you, please forward your cover letter and a copy of your resume via Seek.
