Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to deliver increased market share and revenue growth.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and strengthen the Business Development unit to support business growth, ensuring budget compliance and goal achievement.Client Relations: Build and maintain influential relationships with existing clients and foster new business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through targeted marketing and partnerships, ensuring growth and profitability.Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, improving customer satisfaction, client retention, and service delivery.Networking & Representation: Represent the organisation at external forums, fostering relationships essential for business growth.Key Requirements: Educational Background: Postgraduate qualification in Business/Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven B2B Sales Experience: At least 6 years of successful B2B sales experience, with a track record in solutions-focused sales, market expansion, and revenue growth.Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams, set KPIs, and establish structured sales processes.Technical Skills: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business concepts and write compelling reports, proposals, and tender bids.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Travel Requirements: Ability to travel interstate occasionally to meet the role's requirements.Desirable: Knowledge of or experience in the education sector.Experience in IT or SaaS sales.Background in B2B2C sales.Join us and contribute to our mission of providing equitable access to higher education.
