Primary Objective: The Senior Banking and Corporate Cards Officer will assist in delivering the daily operations of the Banking Services team and ensure that high-quality service is provided to client agencies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Delivery of quality and efficient service to client agencies. Formulate and introduce administrative practices to ensure strict governance controls are maintained. Assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures and deliver supporting training to staff and clients. Resolve any complex issues concerning client agencies in accordance with established policy and procedures. Assist with administration of online banking applications which will include establishment of new users and ongoing user maintenance for all card program types and banking platforms. Support Banking Services team with more complex banking activities and projects. Selection Criteria: Essential: Demonstrated ability in developing suitable governance and assurance processes. Demonstrated understanding of corporate card facilities and transactional banking within a large organisation. Experience with project documentation and complex procedure documentation. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and software applications. High level of organisational skills, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which aligns with DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful and innovative. Desirable: Formal tertiary qualifications in accounting or other relevant business discipline.
