Senior Back End Software Developer Annually Salary: Up to $160,000 Location : Collins Street, Melbourne CBD, with Hybrid working, 2 days a week WFH IPA is partnering with a Melbourne based technology company to hire a Senior Back End Engineer.
This company develops and operates a technology platform tailored for mortgage brokers, offering a comprehensive suite of industry-leading tools.
It's essentially a one-stop digital hub that supports brokers in managing client relationships, nurturing sales, upskilling with online training, generating compliance documents, and so much more.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Software Developer to join the fast paced, and agile team.
This role focuses on back-end development, including API integrations with Salesforce, within a DevOps environment.
As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions that support the continuous growth of the product.
Key responsibilities: API Development and Integration : Design, implement, and maintain APIs Database Management : Ensure the efficient design, optimization, and maintenance of databases to store client data, loan details, and transaction histories securely.
Security and Compliance : Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize server performance, ensuring fast response times and scalability as the user base grows.
Automation and DevOps : Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline deployments and ensure the platform runs smoothly in production.
Qualifications 10 years of software development experience, with a focus on back end development is required.
Backend: Proficiency in Java 17/21 Strong experience with SpringBoot framework Databases: Expertise in MS SQL Server Proficiency in MySQL Frontend: Strong knowledge of ReactJS Experience with Redux for state management Additional Skills and Tools: Familiarity with Kong API Gateway Proficient in GIT version control Experience with Bitbucket for repository management Knowledge of TeamCity for continuous integration and delivery Familiarity with FreshService for IT service management Experience with Jira for project management and issue tracking If you're an experienced Back End Developer who wants to be a leader in a dynamic and fast passed development team, we want to hear from you!
