Audit - External (Accounting)Government - State (Government & Defence)Full timePermanent - Full TimeCLOSING DATE: Tuesday 12 November 2024 at 5:00pm (AWST)An exciting opportunity for a Senior Auditor has come about at the Legal Practice Board (Board).The Board is a statutory body, responsible for the regulation of legal services in Western Australia and all Western Australian legal practitioners.The Board aims to be a leader in the area of regulation and we pride ourselves on working with our stakeholders to ensure we have an engaged, active, competent, and ethical legal profession.About the roleReporting to the Director Risk Mitigation and Review, this position works collaboratively as a member of the Risk Mitigation and Review team to provide independent and objective investigations, examinations and audits of the regulatory affairs of law practices in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. The position is responsible for undertaking independent investigations, examinations and audits to proactively prevent, identify and detect any inappropriate legal or financial practices in a law practice.
