In your career with BDO, you will have the opportunity to work in a high performing team on a diverse client base with exposure to challenging work in a cross section of industries.We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join our Brisbane Audit team. Some of the key duties & responsibilities would include:Execute audits for large proprietary and listed companies ranging in size and industryComplete planning sections of audit files without supervisionWork with other teams to collaborate and develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for our clientsWork closely with the manager on the engagement identifying potential problem areas or budget difficultiesCoordinates engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to Partner where appropriateAwareness of reporting and regulatory requirements across a variety of frameworksAnalysis and documentation of internal controls and control environmentsDraft management letters and completion reportsCoach and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationshipsLiaise with clients and identify future opportunitiesAbout YouDemonstrated external audit experience in a professional services firmProven experience leading the planning, execution and reporting components of auditsCA/CPA qualification (or working towards)Exceptional attention to detailExperience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, included listed entitiesAbility to identify scope and solve problemsExperience and passion in leading and developing teamsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to Audit softwareWhy BDO?Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.
