About the Role Job Title: Senior AuditorDivision: Legal and GovernanceTeam: Risk Assurance and QualityReports to: Head of Risk Assurance and QualityAs the Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the third-line assurance function, ensuring the planning, execution, and reporting of assurance activities. You will play a key role in providing independent assurance and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to drive effective risk management and control practices.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of the organisation's assurance strategy, building an audit manual and delivering the Annual Audit Plan.Oversee internal audit activities and manage relationships with outsourced audit partners, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit engagements.Provide ongoing communication and training to stakeholders on risk management principles and assurance activities.Develop and manage the assurance function's budget, optimising resources and identifying opportunities for cost savings.Provide assurance on financial controls and processes, supporting fraud prevention and detection.Lead proactive safety initiatives, ensuring the identification and mitigation of potential hazards.Embed a client-centric mindset into all assurance activities, ensuring client experience and outcomes are prioritised.Champion a safety-first culture across the business, promoting continuous improvement in safety and wellbeing standards.Foster strong relationships with internal customers, keeping them informed and involved in assurance processes.What You'll Bring: Minimum of 5 years' experience in assurance functions with a focus on third-line audit activities.Senior-level lead auditor with tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Finance, IT, or related fields.Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or ISACA preferred.Strong technical skills and a high degree of integrity, with the ability to analyse complex situations and deliver practical solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.Experience within the disability, community, aged care, or health sectors is desirable.Experience reporting to board-level forums and programs, with a collaborative approach to fostering a strong risk management culture.Benefits and Perks: Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses.Use your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costs.Discounts on Corporate Private Health Insurance, select Kia vehicles and discounted kitchen appliances.Supportive Induction and Learning Opportunities.Employee Assistance Program.Reward and Recognition Program.Intrigued?
