Our passion for sustainability excellence sets us apart.Your role Based in Sydney or Perth As a Senior Associate, Sustainability, you will play a vital role in delivering end to end solutions for materiality assessments to drafting sustainability reports.
You will advise clients and contribute to a variety of project types to help advance client's sustainability agenda, playing a critical role in client's goal to build stakeholder value, and navigate an increasingly complex environment.
You are a self-starter, that is looking to deliver quality solutions on time, find solutions to client problems, improve approaches and continually enhance frameworks.
You bring an energy to grow with the team and take accountability for contributing to the client deliverables.

In this role, you will: Manage and develop robust ESG gap analyses, recommendations, and strategic action plans aligned with key market and investor trends and client focus areas.Manage the end-to-end process of developing clients' annual sustainability and ESG reports in partnership with a cross-functional team of stakeholders.
Lead stakeholder engagement interviews across a variety of functions and industries to uncover and collect underreported or new ESG performance data and information.Work with clients to implement sustainability and ESG initiatives in alignment with their strategic action plans.Contribute to firm development as a strategic ESG advisor by supporting various firm business development, communication, and thought leadership activities.
Collaborate with the Sustainability and other team leads to deliver a range of advice and solutions to boards, directors, chief sustainability officers and executive management teams.Serve as a project lead for client deliverables, overseeing outcomes and delegating responsibility among contributors.Assist team leaders in pursuing business development opportunities to grow the company's client base and drive positive business performance.Cultivate strong client and internal relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for clients and other areas of Sodali.Research sustainability topics pertinent to the Australian market and broader APAC region, while also engaging with external stakeholders to stay at the forefront of industry developments.Identify and recommend improvements to refine and innovate our service offerings for clients, drawing from experience, industry trends, and global best practice.Coach and guide junior team members to produce high-quality, visually compelling, and actionable deliverables.Support other administrative and client account management needs.

3+ years of relevant professional experience Proven track record in sustainability, ideally in delivery of materiality assessments and sustainability reports.
Understanding of the application of ESG reporting frameworks and standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS).
Understanding of ESG ratings providers and assessments such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP, S&P Global CSA, and GRESB.
Excellent project management, research and analytical skills with a track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, enabling confident communication with senior stakeholders and clients.
A collaborative, team-oriented attitude, contributing to both your own and your colleagues' success over time.
An entrepreneurial mindset that sees you thrive being a part of a fast-growing and high-energy business.
Tertiary qualification or similar experience.
