Duffy & Simon, a progressive leader in the legal industry with nearly 50 years' experience, is growing across key areas, including litigation, commercial, property, and family law.Due to this growth, we are looking to fill two senior associate positions in our general commercial and property teams, to work across a range of interesting and challenging matters.You will enjoy the autonomy and responsibility of managing and leading a diverse caseload, with the focus, support, guidance, and administrative assistance required.General RequirementsWorking closely with development clients and property owners to provide strategic advice as to the sale, use, and development of their land;General taxation and stamp duty knowledge;Conducting effective legal research including reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes.ExperiencePreparing, reviewing, negotiating, and settling agreements for real property acquisitions and dispositions including terms contracts;Taxation including GAIC, CGT, Windfall Gains Tax, Land Tax, and Stamp Duty advice;Commercial and Retail leasing;Caveat, adverse possession, and fencing disputes;Construction contracts both front end and back end;Compulsory Land Acquisition advice.About You5+ years of relevant experience in property law;Strong expertise in real estate law, including corporate lease transactions, construction projects, and property management;Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects in a fast-paced environment;Practical and client-focused problem-solving and research skills;Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team;Excellent organization, written, and oral communication skills;Attractive salary package;Autonomous case management;Clear pathway to Partnership.Please submit applications including a covering letter and a resume to Peta, People & Culture Manager at ******.
