Role description – who are we looking for?Massons is looking for a highly intelligent and driven specialist senior associate.
To be considered for this role, ideally you will:
have at least 5 years post admission experience with a reputable property teambe technically savvy and have exceptional attention to detailbe able to demonstrate an ability to lead matters involving:drafting contracts, leases, deeds, agreements and adviceshigh-value and complex property transactionsmanaging large volumes of work under pressurebe able to work autonomously when required, making good decisions where called upon to do so by a partner or in the absence of a partnerbe someone who enhances the culture of the firm, with demonstrated leadership potentialhave strong commercial acumen, maturity and common-sensehave excellent communication skillshave a demonstrated capacity to work with the senior management team to sustain a positive, caring and friendly team-based environmentbring excellent client service skills to the team with a demonstrated capacity to maintain (or grow) work generated by the partnershave advanced Microsoft Office and legal software skills, particularly WordFlexible working arrangementsWe ask our lawyers to work from the office at least 3/5ths of their working week and to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is to ensure that we foster a real sense of team and provide a regular opportunity for collaborative working and learning. We trust our senior lawyers to manage any remote or flexible working arrangements autonomously.
