Contribute to successful project delivery with your technical expertise, from initial input to technical reviews and risk management. We're searching for someone with a can-do attitude, a consultative approach, and the ability to prioritize and lead project teams. The successful candidate will be a team player who can collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence senior leaders.Stay on the cutting edge of water and wastewater technology, bringing innovation to every design and procurement process. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver creative and effective project outcomes.Be a key player in developing winning proposals and pursuits. Participate in company development initiatives and share your knowledge by mentoring staff through our active Mentoring Program.Get involved in shaping the industry by joining committees, engaging with industry bodies, and presenting at events. This is your chance to make a real impact and have fun while doing it!About YouBachelor's Degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.Membership with MIEAust or IChemE, plus CPEng and RPEQ certification.Proven engineering consulting experience in the Australian water industry an advantage.Proven experience in the process design of water and/or wastewater treatment plants.Technical expertise in ventilation and odour treatment processes.Extensive experience in process design for odour treatment plants and odour modeling.Hands-on experience with Mass Balance, Design Basis, Equipment Sizing, PFD, P&ID, and FDs.Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.Skilled in breaking down complex problems, developing strategic responses, and presenting to stakeholders for consensus.Proficient in identifying strategic risks and potential project delivery issues, and informing the project team.Interest in environmental and social impacts, incorporating these into decision-making.Experience with plant commissioning is an asset.Capable of acting as a project manager and design manager.Experience in CHAIR and HAZOP, including safety in design practices and processes.Ability to identify risks in projects of various sizes.About WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
