About YOU: Qualifications in Law – Taxation Law, Commercial Law, or related subjects undertaken preferredGold Coast-based with a minimum of 7 years experience (desirable if you have worked in mid-tier Practice)Hold, or entitled to hold, a current practicing certificate as issued by the relevant State based Law Society – desired but not requiredStrong business acumen with problem-solving creativityHighly organised with the ability to work under pressureSelf-motivated with a desire to learnStrong relationship-building skillsTech savvy and able to adapt to new systemsLeadership qualities to inspire and motivate team members and other stakeholdersThe GIG: As Senior Associate, you will work closely with the Managing Director of Gild Legal to drive client outcomes through the accurate delivery of corporate and commercial law and advisory services.
It will ensure exceptional client service, the identification of opportunities, and the appropriate level of risk management for both the client and Gild Legal.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting the growth of the Advisory & Legal business unit while ensuring the exceptional delivery of services that reflect our core values.Managing the daily progress and billing of matters under management, including meeting billable targets and ensuring client deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.Overseeing the technical delivery of services within the Advisory & Legal business unit, maintaining high levels of excellence.Providing leadership through role modeling behaviors and mentoring, including offering technical support to team members.This should include proven experience in managing the end-to-end process of the following corporate and commercial law matters: Company and director resolutionsGeneral corporate matters pertaining to the Corporations ActClient-tailored drafting of commercial documentsPrivacy Policy in compliance with GDPRTerms of SaleTerms and Conditions (website use)Share Subscription AgreementsEmployee Share SchemesDistribution AgreementsManufacturing AgreementsIt would be beneficial if you have (though not essential): Experience in guiding and mentoring junior team membersGeneral commercial advisory expertiseExperience working with global clientsInvolvement with shareholder engagementExperience in preparing disclosure documents related to raising capital in compliance with the Corporations ActKnowledge of intellectual property, including the registration of trademarks in Australia and internationallyWhy join The Gild Group: It's not just another professional services firm – A fun and relaxed atmosphere (no suits).Executive team supportGrowing company with career security and opportunitiesAmazing culture with regular events and group incentivesEmployee Benefits ProgramInternal education programPet friendly officesIf you join us, you'll be an integral part of this exciting new growth phase.
