Senior Architectural Technologist

Details of the offer

A progressive medium sized Chartered Architectural Practice requires a talented career focussed Senior Architectural Technologist with circa 10 years' experience to join their established team of 25 professionals in their Leeds and Harrogate studio.
Due to significant sustained growth, our ambitious client has also opened a new studio space in Leeds city centre which is to facilitate further expansion and to give their people the option of working in a city location.
Their city hub has grown substantially this year, becoming a permanent fixture with many of the staff enjoying the benefits of a dual working location.
The practice was founded in Harrogate, and whilst the Leeds hub is the focus on growth, they retain a very nice studio space just on the outskirts of Harrogate with their team given the option to work out of either location.
Their new Leeds city centre studio, just a couple of minutes' walk from the train station, is a delightful modern space overlooking the river Aire.
This expansion into the city is due to continued growth, and they now boast an incredibly robust portfolio of work across multiple sectors including Care, Retail, Logistics, Residential, Healthcare, and large commercial units.
Much of their repeat work is with well-known blue chip clients, providing hands-on experience of working with them.
The business has a grown-up trusting ethos at its core.
The Architect will be provided with the necessary tools and an inspiring collaborative & flexible working environment to thrive professionally.
Culturally, they are blessed with some terrifically talented people, many of whom are on a planned career route, ensuring an incredibly low staff turnover and a genuinely happy and motivated place to work.
Due to an unprecedented order book spanning several years ahead, they are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated MCIAT Senior Architectural Technologist with 7-10 years post qualification professional experience ideally to assist in the successful design and project delivery on a variety of Living sector projects.
The suitable candidate will ideally be a proficient Revit user (some training can be provided) and possess a wide range of technical skills with a creative edge to their designs.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work on a variety of interesting schemes across multiple sectors (spanning the UK in retail, residential, healthcare, and logistics).
Must also possess excellent technical detailing ability, have a solid knowledge of UK building regulations, and the desire to contribute to the progressive growth of the business.
You will have good client-facing skills as you will be encouraged to get out and about on site and have previous job running capabilities as you will be running your own projects from start to finish and mentoring sub-design teams.
Why join this Practice?
They take continual professional development extremely seriously.
They believe they cannot put a price on having motivated and engaged employees who are vying for their next promotion.
From Junior through to Associate level, every member of the team is on a career progression route with a defined path to get there.
Alongside having a defined path of progression, the option of flexible hours & some remote working is available.
You will be working for an experienced Senior management team who are proud of what they stand for; it's a great business to be a part of and a happy place to work!
The Senior Architectural Technologist will receive a salary and benefits as follows: Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 26 days holiday Private medical insurance Pension Professional subscriptions Annual bonus A CV and ideally a sample portfolio of recent work examples is required to apply.
You will be contacted within 24 hours of receiving your application, and full details on the job and company will be released.
We shall then hopefully progress your application through to interview stage.
