Ideally, they are looking for a seasoned Senior Mechanical Designer as well as an experienced Junior to join their high performing team. The role will be offered on an initial 12-month contract based in the Perth CBD . About the Role: Design robust systems for bulk material handling, including conveyors, chutes, hoppers, and bins. Integrate designs with overall plant layout to optimize material flow and space utilization. Incorporate safety features and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. Demonstrate a high standard of health, safety and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety excellence throughout all project phases. Required skills / experience: As a Senior it is envisioned you will bring 15+ years of experience as a mechanical designer within an EPCM mining environment – we are looking for a true senior. As a Junior, it is envisioned you will bring 2+ years of experience as a mechanical designer within an EPCM mining environment. MicroStation Connect 2D & 3D modelling proficiency. Mining background essential. Experience working on BHP projects highly regarded. Comfortable and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
