Senior Analyst – Data and Analytics permanent Senior Analyst – Data and Analytics 6 month term The Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for compiling, preparing, reviewing and lodging accurate and complete APRA Returns per the APRA Reporting Policy and other Government Agency statistics in a timely manner, with robust controls and sustainable, repeatable processes.
You'll be responsible for and make an impact by:
Implementing enhancements to improve data quality and reduce the number of manual adjustments Building and implementing analytics and preventative controls Implementing opportunities for process automation and process improvement Working with business data and system owners to ensure that data is available in an accurate and timely manner required in line with the Data Governance Framework Supporting other functions and stakeholders as required What you'll bring to the role To succeed in this role, it's essential to have:
More than 5 years demonstrated experience working in a Regulatory Reporting analytics role in a financial services environment Experience in designing and implementing improvements for financial services reporting data, specifically with APRA regulated entities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills High level of analytical, numerical and reporting skills Ability to proactively identify improvements and contribute to making changes that improve compliance and/or data quality Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Strong communication skills to be able to build and develop relationships with stakeholders A knack for teamwork - mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals!
While not essential, these will be highly advantageous:
