One way we bring this to life is by hiring and developing exceptional talent, to deliver on our wide variety of advisory, audit, and accounting services.About the teamBDO's Melbourne Deal Advisory division is experiencing strong growth and we are now seeking a Senior Analyst to join our market-leading Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team.Our mid-market focused M&A team advises on transactions with enterprise values up to A$200M across several industries including technology, automotive, healthcare, education, and industrials.About the roleAs a Senior Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to assist with the delivery of M&A projects, providing lead advisory services and building strong client relationships.What you'll be doing:Execute M&A engagements: preparing information memoranda and buyer lists, building financial models, and analysing company information.Collaborate on strategy and business development initiatives: prepare target lists, pitch documents, and pricing analysis.Represent BDO: actively participate in marketing events and promote our services.Contribute to national M&A team activities.About youThis role will ideally suit a candidate with a solid background in corporate finance. Your dedication, resilience, strong work ethic and highly developed interpersonal skills will make you a great fit for the team.The below attributes will ensure your success:Minimum of two years direct experience in lead M&A advisory, corporate advisory and/or investment banking.Sound report writing, research, modelling, and financial analytical skills.Undertaking CA and/or CFA qualifications (or similar).Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal with stakeholders at various levels.Self-motivated approach to the role and keen to take on new challenges and opportunities.Why BDO?Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.
