About the role: Joining us as our new Accountant, you will be joining a small and experienced team of accounting professionals, with your primary focuses being to help manage the Manufacturing finance business unit's day-to-day financial operations & success as well as managing end-of-month processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Oversee and execute end-of-month accounting activities, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.Conduct margin analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation.Utilise advanced Excel skills to create detailed reports, models, and forecasts.Manage and analyse data using ERP software, including M1, to streamline financial operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts. About you: Strong background in Management Accounting with Financial analytical abilitiesStrong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasetsFamiliarity with ERP software, particularly M1, is highly desirableProven experience in accounting within the manufacturing industryA demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards and a diverse workplace Excellent people skills, open to direction and a collaborative work style, and commitment to getting the job doneAbility to look at situations from several points of viewCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsPlanning and organising abilityDecision-making abilityExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenKnowledge and experience in the use of key finance toolsCA or CPA essential Perks of the job: Competitive Salary?
