Senior Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst required for a large energy business for initially 3 months Your new company An energy company located in Sydney CBD, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the team for initially 3 months to help during a busy period of time. This role could lead to a permanent role. Your new role This role will support the FP&A Manager with: Group FP&A activities supporting the planning and budgeting process. Working together with a team of analysts to support them post asset acquisition and into the busy budgeting cycle. Contributing to the annual planning, budgeting and forecasting process. Support the long term planning and financial modelling process. Provide analysis for benchmarking, and providing recommendations for stakeholders. Track the monthly performance across business units and conduct analysis as required. Provide continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities and areas to enhance processes. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a CA/ CPA qualified Accountant with a background in group FP&A at a large and complex business. You will be ideally big 4/ mid-tier trained and able to jump in and get stuck in during a busy period of time. You must be available at short notice and have a background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
