See yourself in our team The Group Statutory & Regulatory Reporting (S&RR) team plays a vital role in the financial operations of the Group.
The team is responsible for statutory, prudential and statistical reporting to APRA, RBA and ABS, Pillar 3 reporting, and other regulatory obligations.
The team's areas of focus include: Group Reporting – Statutory external financial reporting and consolidation of the Group's general ledger Accounting Policy – Ensuring the Group has adequate accounting policies to support external reporting requirements and business unit support for complex transactions Regulatory Reporting – Ensuring that the Group's financial and regulatory reports comply with the relevant regulations and standards.
The purpose of the role is to help deliver the strategic agenda for S&RR.
This involves preparation and delivery of value-add, insightful reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders, together with driving change initiative projects across S&RR.
Your responsibilities are varied, ranging from execution and delivery of semi-annual statutory results for the Annual Report and Profit Announcements, including driving financial automation transformation projects.
Key duties will include: Focus on the continuous improvement agenda of the Group Reporting team with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and functionality Support and lead the automation agenda for the team, including transformation of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements Advisory role on reporting process improvements and support to related projects Assist with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables, including the Annual Report, Profit Announcement and Pillar 3 Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights to drive debate, and deliver value-add analysis of the Group's statutory results to senior stakeholders Contribute to a strong and vibrant team culture We're interested in hearing from people who have: Excellent commercial acumen Experience with Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI and SQL will be looked upon favourably Familiarity working with large datasets Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously Innovative and able to drive results If you would like to hear more about this role please Apply.
