Our client based in Perth's CBD is currently seeking a Senior Analyst (Governance) to join their team.
Your new company
This role is a temporary contract for 12 months initially with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
The role will be reporting to the Manager of their Commercial team who is responsible for financial capability and corporate governance arrangements for industry projects.
This role would be open to remote applicants.
Your new role
As a Senior Analyst (Governance), your responsibilities will include:
Supporting and preparing financial assessments, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.
Developing advice to assist with assessments of companies entering a particular industry sector.
Reviewing Governance Reports and preparing advice for senior management.
Identifying and researching key trends and issues within the industry sector.
Monitoring and analysing financial reports and capital cost estimates.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
Fully qualified in a relevant technical or accounting degree.
Extensive experience and knowledge in corporate governance and risk management.
Well-demonstrated reporting experience.
Analytical mindset.
Experience in building and monitoring financial models.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
To be eligible, applicants must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Suitability Assessment and Baseline Security Clearance.
Member of the Governance Institute of Australia or similar.
Knowledge within the petroleum, greenhouse gas, and renewable energy industries.
