The Role: As Trip.com continues to experience business growth in the Oceania region, we have a fantastic opening for a driven and commercially savvy Senior Airline Account Manager to join our welcoming team in Sydney.
Reporting to the Airline Director - Oceania, you will be tasked with developing and implementing the airline commercial strategy aimed at enhancing growth and market share throughout the Oceania region.
This position involves overseeing airline initiatives and strategic projects that establish Trip.com as a premier Online Travel Agency partner in the area.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams in Australia as well as across the APAC region, hence we seek someone who is flexible, innovative, and a collaborative team player!
Job requirements: Bachelor's degree or above, minimum 4-5 years of commercial experience within an Airline or Travel Agency environment. Consistent and proven track record in successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth. Proven and demonstrated experience with leading and closing commercial negotiations with airline partners. Self-starter mentality, intrinsically motivated and comfortable blazing a completely new path and defining innovative solutions for our airline partners. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, must be able to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions. Ability to work autonomously and lead a wide variety of projects at a time whilst working to strict deadlines. Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key airline partners. Results orientated and experience working to strict deadlines. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Language ability: Proficient in English. Role will be based in Sydney, Australia.
