This role reports to the General Manager of Agriculture Investments and will be working with the team who provide acquisition and investment analysis and supports the acquisition process of assets within the broadacre, dairy and horticulture industry.Job DescriptionWhat the Agriculture Financial Analyst doesBuild best practice large-scale agricultural investment models (Excel), including detailed analysis of property acquisitions, divestments, and portfolio performance.Develop consolidated portfolio models and treasury/debt drawdown models to monitor asset performance and funding requirements.Create analytical tools and Power BI reports using large data sets to support business decisions.Prepare and oversee high-quality Investment Memorandums and reports, supported by comprehensive research and analysis.Develop an understanding of key profit drivers in agriculture and assist with benchmarking analysis.Management of acquisition process and relationshipsWork with Ag Platform CEOs to prioritise resources, review acquisition processes, and ensure governance requirements are met.Assist in the development of acquisition reporting in line with investor requirements and recommend key commercial terms for property acquisitions.Manage stakeholder and client expectations, and, where required, negotiate outcomes with agents/vendors alongside the CEOs.OtherManage and guide a high performing team capable of supporting the expansion objectives of the Ag PlatformsMonitor strategic plan implementation effectivenessDevelop and expand strong working relationships with internal team members, farm staff, external consultants and industry professionalsQualificationsAbout youExperience in a similar role, such as Senior Financial Analyst, Senior Agribusiness Analyst or Senior Investment AnalystStrong investment analytics, modelling and implementation skillsAdvanced Excel and Power Bi Skills and the ability to manipulate large data setsUnderstanding and experience in agriculture or property investment will be an advantage, but not required.Strong attention to detail and ability to plan, prioritise and organise work demands and deadlinesExcellent writing skills with the ability to produce detailed reports and documentationAbility to work effectively in a dynamic environment and comfortably deal with change that comes with a growing businessAdditional InformationWhat makes Warakirri unique?Part of agrowing organisationthat works across multiple business platforms.We have a workplace that valuesinclusionand whereeveryone is welcome and respected.
