About the role Join our inclusive Integrated Scheduling & Planning team at our state-of-the-art operations centre in Perth. We are looking for a Senior Advisor Playbooks to develop, maintain and govern playbooks across the Rio Tinto Iron Ore value chain, to drive system-centric mindsets, behaviours and practices to maximise system value.
Reporting to the Principal Playbooks, you will:
Develop, govern and maintain playbooks across the Rio Tinto Iron Ore, focussing on driving systems thinking throughout the organisation.Contribute to the project management of the end to end playbook process through the four key phases: engage, develop, operationalise and sustain.Build strong and trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across the supply chain.Coach and mentor other team members on systems thinking.Provide representation and backfill support for Principal as required.Travel to site as required to support Playbook activities.What you'll bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team members.Deep technical understanding and experience in the Iron Ore supply chain (Mine, Rail, Port), with operational experience.Technical understanding of systems thinking leveraging Theory of Constraints or Lean Thinking.Ability to apply critical thinking and deal with ambiguous situations to solve complex problems.Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership qualities displaying ability to lead through change.Sound skills relating to influencing, communication, collaboration and conflict resolution.C Class manual licence.If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
