In the role of Senior Advisor (Investment Strategy), you will be part of a dedicated team of people making decisions now that will shape Queensland's transport system by: providing advice to senior and executive management on transport and road infrastructure challenges and investment opportunities to inform investment planning and decision-making; contributing to the development and drafting of transport and road investment strategies and infrastructure investment plans; contributing to the preparation of investment proposals and submissions to seek funding for network improvement projects through State and Federal budget processes; providing support in the governance of major capital road upgrade investment programs to inform development of the annual Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) and guide investment decision-making; building and maintaining key internal stakeholder relationships across TMR through a range of formal and informal correspondence and targeted communication; preparing correspondence and briefing notes related to transport investment for consideration of responsible Minister/s, the Director-General and other senior executives. The role will suit a driven individual who has: Demonstrated ability to translate transport-related strategic policy and objectives to inform program and strategy development. Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders from a range of technical backgrounds. Strong written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and undertake a range of roles and activities in a small highly productive, multidisciplinary team to ensure the success of the broader organisation and a demonstrated willingness to contribute to a positive team culture.
