Youth JusticeZZZOffice of Senior Executive Director; Youth Detention Operations & Reform; Service Dlvision - Youth Justice; Brisbane CityThe Senior Advisor (Identified), Youth Detention Recruitment is responsible for providing best practice advice, specialising in the recruitment and selection of First Nations frontline Detention Youth Workers and other departmental staff within youth detention, delivering practical information about culturally appropriate recruitment and selection methods including talent attraction, candidate assessment, guidance to tools available, as well as on-boarding, induction and retention of staff.This role will have a particular focus on community engagement and attraction of First Nations applicants, including building professional and productive working partnerships with a portfolio of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate quality recruitment outcomes.It is a genuine occupational requirement that it be filled by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
