Senior Advisor (Assurance & Governance)

Workplace Health & Safety and Rehabilitation; Human Resources; Corporate; Brisbane
As a Senior Advisor in the Workplace Health & Safety and Rehabilitation team, you will work within TMR's safety systems to deliver enterprise-wide safety assurance and governance functions, provide specialist risk management advice, and deliver data-driven analytics and reporting.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Develop and operationalise the TMR WHS Assurance program including conducting audits, identifying deficiencies and/or opportunities for improvement, and recommending practical solutions for our customers.
Provide specialist risk management advice in accordance with the TMR Safety Management and Risk Management systems.
Prepare and present papers and reports on the performance of assurance, risk, and incidents including analysis, trends, and recommendations for consideration by Senior Leaders and governance committees as required.
Support the review and application of TMR safety systems including policies, procedures, supporting tools, and the Integrum TMR WHS management solution.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
It is a condition of employment for recommended appointee/s to disclose any previous serious discipline action taken against them for consideration by the delegate prior to any appointment.
Requirements of the role:
High level knowledge of assurance, governance, and risk management practices preferably within a WHS setting in a large organisation.
Experience in collaborating and engaging leaders and business areas to embrace change and an adaptable approach to work.
Demonstrated strong analytical and reporting skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication and the ability to tailor communication style to a range of internal and external stakeholders, such as communication of technical content.
