As a team member, you will be a part of a company with a strong corporate culture that prioritises people and purpose over profit, giving you opportunities to contribute programs that are improving the lives of young people.ResponsibilitiesTeam Collaboration: Communicate with team members, foster a supportive environment, and deliver project, tendering and co-ordination support for our team of engineers.Management and Implementation: System implementation, training and change management, identify opportunities for improvement.Communication and Reporting: Internal engagement, collaboration, monthly reporting.Civil Geotechnical Consultants (CGC) is a geotechnical engineering consultancy that provides geotechnical engineering solutions for transport, energy and civil infrastructure, and have been involved in many nation-building infrastructure projects such as the Coomera Connector, major Bruce Highway upgrades and Cross River Rail.What you'll be doingBusiness supportProviding effective business supportWork collaboratively with our team to co-ordinate and complete tender / bid submissionsOpportunity/Lead assistanceManage our social impact initiatives, including partnerships, co-ordination of mentoring programs, workshops, and scholarships.Assist with Social Impact reporting.Assist with the measurement and evaluation of our social initiatives.Operations and opportunitiesAssist with internal audits, systems, policies and processes.Planning & co-ordination of staff events and workshopsManage the office environment.Manage sub-contractors and supplier contractsKeep asset registers currentSupport recruitment needs and management of HR systems.FinanceManage the day-to-day financial tasks - invoicing reconciliations, accounts receivable/payableSkills & Experience:At least 5 years' in a similar business support roleStrong attention to detailGreat work ethic and strong ability to build good relationshipsExcellent time management, multitasking, and prioritisationExperience or strong interest in project co-ordination, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Knowledge of Total Synergy desirable but not essential.Knowledge and experience of Office 365 and SharePointExperience with accounting software (Xero preferred).Experience working in an Engineering environment (desirable).If you want to be part of a dynamic business that is doing engineering differently, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
