The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) is seeking a Senior Administration Officer to join the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (OCEO).
This is an exciting opportunity to provide crucial operational support in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring that our leadership team is well-equipped to drive positive change.
About the Role As the Senior Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering confidential and efficient administrative support to the OCEO.
Your responsibilities will include managing correspondence, coordinating appointments, and conducting research for meetings.
You will also collaborate closely with our Communications Advisor, assisting in the development of staff bulletins and managing our YNLHN Facebook page.
Your contribution will help ensure that our CEO is well-prepared for all business activities, and that our operations align with organisational standards.
In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for communications, business reporting, and supporting the YNLHN Governing Board and its Committees.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while managing competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities Include: Coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence for the CEO.
Supporting research, projects, and presentations for the OCEO.
Managing corporate records and providing executive support to various directors.
Assisting with secretariat responsibilities for board committees and health advisory councils.
Contributing to the Freedom of Information team and providing assistance across YNLHN teams as needed.
Essential Criteria To be successful in this role, you will need: Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Teamwork and Independence: Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team, maintaining positive relationships and delivering high-quality results.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Technical Proficiency: Experience in using Microsoft Office, especially advanced Word, Excel, and Outlook, alongside knowledge of records management systems.
Promotional Expertise: Background in developing effective promotional materials and communication strategies, including social media.
Adaptability: Ability to navigate changing priorities and respond with tact and initiative.
