Analysis & Reporting (Banking & Financial Services) Full time 5 weeks annual leave – 17.5% leave loading Employee discount on health insurance 6 months paid parental leave About the role The Senior Actuarial Analyst will leverage analytical skills and assist to drive strategic decision-making and optimise our financial performance. This role will provide specialist actuarial assistance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and conducting detailed analyses on financial performance, risk, and membership. Responsibilities: Actuarial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders Managing the Financial Projection Model Providing insights and recommendations on strategic issues Research on private health insurance operations, including dental and optical business Compliance obligations Skills & Experience: Relevant experience in Actuarial and Financial modeling, preferably in the PHI industry Experience working with finance/product teams Strong analytical and quantitative skills Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in PHI policy and legislation Understanding of industry practices in health insurance Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies About us Westfund is changing the way Australians see private health insurance.
