The Senior Accounts and Administration Officer is responsible for managing variousfinancial and administration tasks to ensure the smooth operation of Ice Hockey Australia.

Reporting to the IHA General Manager, this role will also support the IHA Board whererequired.

Data Entry: recording financial transactions into XERO.
Accounts receivable; creating and sending invoices, and providing weekly updates to the GM.
Accounts payable: ensuring invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner.
Preparing financial reports as required, including supporting end of year reporting requirements in preparation for the audit.
Payroll: calculating pay and deductions, filing reports, updating GM on superannuation.
Administration:
Provide administrative assistance to the GM.
Assist the GM with preparation & submission of grants, applications & reports to relevant governing bodies.
Maintain accurate company records, develop organisational documents, record meeting minutes at IHA Board meetings, and manage and prepare communications and reports as required.
Maintain the Board action list and company files.
Be the primary contact for IHA Office enquiries.
Additional Duties:
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide timely updates to the IHA website.
Support the national teams with travel and other logistics.
Support the ordering and restocking of IHA branded merchandise and the online store.
Other duties and projects as requested by the Board and General Manager.
