The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and agile Accountant to join the Dexus Fund Finance team as Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all financial, management, and investor reporting obligations.
You will make an impact by:
Delivery of fund accounting activities including unit pricing, financial reporting, tax reporting, fund distributions, and investor reporting.Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of financial audits.Support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with coordination of finance and operations functions between Property Accounting, Fund Finance, and other specialist teams (e.g., Fund Operations, Treasury, Tax, Reporting teams).Ensuring all regulatory obligations are satisfied in a timely manner.About YouThe ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in an accounting role with experience in preparing statutory reports in accordance with AASB and IFRS. Through your career, you will have developed expertise in real estate and/or funds management through experience in Big 4 audit or the property/fund management industry. To thrive in this role, you will bring strong attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing your time effectively, and have a collaborative working style.
