With over 130 staff, we serve more than 3,000 clients throughout South Australia including family businesses and professionals in agribusiness, health, wine, food & hospitality and not-for-profits.The Senior Accountant is responsible for producing and reviewing a high level of taxation and business advisory work. Given this scope, it is essential that the Senior Accountant works in close conjunction with Accounting team leaders and other team members to ensure that the highest level of service is provided to our clients. The successful candidate will need strong collaboration skills and a commercial mindset.The role will include:· Working within the team to manage a portfolio of clients in accordance with Hood Sweeney's service standards;Perform and deliver accounting, taxation and advisory services at a high level including preparation of financial statements and income tax returns;Collaborate with our other service lines to integrate seamlessly for our clients;Delivering high-level strategic work to add value for our clients;Reviewing of work to ensure our quality standards are maintained;Building and sharing knowledge and engaging in ongoing personal career growth.Expectations:Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years' experience in accounting with a mid-tier, multidisciplinary firm, be close to completing or recently completed a CA/CPA qualification and possess demonstratable performance in an intermediate role. You will understand the specific needs of the industry and be committed to delivering high quality advice and building long-term client relationships.
