Full time We are seeking an experienced accounting professional who enjoys and takes pride in building positive client relationships and delivering high quality advice and services for a diverse client base.
Our client is a Western Australian-owned firm based in the northern suburbs that has a solid reputation in delivering practical and professional accounting and business advice to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
You'll be joining a team of eight people servicing a committed and expanding client base across a wide range of sectors including farming, fishing, mining services, transport and retail.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a portfolio of SME clients and reporting to the Partners.Building and developing relationships with existing and new clients.Providing taxation, business and SMSF advice and all compliance requirements.Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for a host of clients of varying industries and structures.Skills & QualificationsQualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification required.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in public practice accounting within Australia.Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a client-focused mindset.Analytical Abilities: Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.What We're Offering YouCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Flexible working conditions, including working from home and the possibility of school-friendly hours.Opportunity to contribute to the development of a boutique accounting firm.Free private on-site parking.For any questions regarding the role, please reach out to us at ******, and we'll be happy to assist.
