This position supports Stan Kontos, one of the owners of the Star Pharmacy Group and SOL Results, and Executive Director of SK Property Group. He has many business and charity ventures that he supports so this position will be providing personal finance support and administration across all ventures. Stan is an entrepreneurial businessman, investor, property developer, motivational speaker, author, mentor and peak performance coach.

About the Position:
Reporting to the Virtual CFO - CK Advisory (multi-award winning team), the senior accountant will be responsible for managing the conceptual framework of the accounting system and the day-to-day accounting admin and bookkeeping function of the entire Property Portfolio which consists of over forty (40) entities. This position needs to enjoy being both hands on as the only internal finance resource as well as having the opportunity to think and get involved strategically around commercial initiatives. Accordingly, you may currently be supporting scale up businesses as a senior accountant/key resource in an accounting firm and want a change or may be a current standalone resource supporting entrepreneurial businesses end to end internal finance requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Carry out accounts payable, receiving, paying bills and bookkeeping for all entities within the property portfolio.Weekly payroll processing.Preparing and collating monthly Management Reports.Finance paperwork coordination and finance applications.Prepare end of year workpapers for external accountants.Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare monthly budgets and annual Management Accounts.Prepare quarterly rental property cash flow statements and EOFY financial statements.Prepare quarterly BAS for commercial properties.Manage cash flow, including periodic direct debits and invoice payments.Maintain accurate records of suppliers and tenants.Complete bank-related requests and track property development projects.Liaise with financiers, consultants, and stakeholders for property acquisitions and sales.Liaise with external consultants and accountants for tax planning and financial statements and income tax returns preparation.Establish and manage bank stakeholder relations.Support the team with ad hoc tasks and duties as needed. The position will be Part Time and the preferable candidate will be available across 4 full days. This schedule can be 9.00am-5.00pm (30 hours per week) Monday to Thursday (however this may be negotiated).

About You:
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

At least 3 years prior public practice experience in a similar role with sound accounting and client servicing experience.Prior experience and enjoys working in fast-paced transactional environment.CA/CPA certified or working towards - highly desirable.Tax knowledge and accounting experience with exposure to inter-entity transactions.Proficient in cash flow management.Property Industry knowledge viewed favourably including working with Margin Scheme, calculating profit/loss on sale and net proceeds and an understanding of effective financial reporting principles (including distinguishing between capital expenditure and revenue expenditure).Proficient in Xero including hands-on experience in setting up new entities in Xero, Bank Feeds and preparing journals.Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate and present to key stakeholders.Known for meeting timelines consistently.Known for accuracy of work, high attention to detail, problem solving and proactively taking initiative.Requires a valid police check or willingness to obtain one.
