For more information, please visit our website: About the Opportunity Count Gold Coast is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant - Graduate Team Leader based in Southport, QLD. This role, reporting to the Managing Principal, involves leading and nurturing a team of accounting graduates, focusing on their professional growth and workflow management.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading the graduate team to develop strong accounting skills Nurturing the professional growth of team members Managing workflow and scheduling to ensure efficiency Reviewing work and providing constructive feedback Preparing tax returns and financial statements Developing and implementing training programs Enhancing client engagement and service delivery Monitoring performance and providing guidance during reviews Make a lasting impact by mentoring and leading a team of graduates towards excellence in accounting. At Count, you'll guide and develop future leaders within a supportive and collaborative environment.
About You To qualify, you must hold a CA or CPA certification and have at least 4 years of experience in a similar leadership role , ideally within public practice.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
