Being a cloud-based Xero practice the firm can offer an on-site, Work From Home or fully remote employment.Due to continued growth in the client base the partners are looking to add another senior accountant to their team.THE ROLE Working under the partners and a manager your role will include but not be limited to:Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for all entity types.Handle various tax matters such as CGT calculations, FBT and Div7a, trust distributions & GST reconciliationsUse your technical expertise to perform research and provide adviceAssist in training and development of junior staffBENEFITS Remote work options Excellent cloud-based Xero tech stackLarge practice with developed training and support High degree of client contact Focus on quality not productivity YOUR SKILL SET Solid Tax technical knowledge and accounting skills.Several years Australian accounting firm experience Ability to communicate and influence clients and staffBroad software skills across XERO and MYOBPrior exposure to SMSF advantageous but not essential
