Our client in the Sydney CBD is seeking an Experienced Senior Accountant to join their premier boutique that delivers advisory services to executives, family groups & growing businesses. Excellent training is available with a $4,000 budget given to each employee to explore outside training programmes to upskill.
About the Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage a diverse range of accounting tasks while playing a key role in advising our prestigious clientele. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities: Workflow ManagementCompletion of BAS, IAS, FBT and SMSFAnnual Compliance & Income Tax ReturnsAssistance with providing adviceLiaise with the ATO and ASIC on client compliance mattersWeekly & Monthly management reportingAssisting with client accounting file maintenanceOther tasks as requiredWhat We Offer: Career Advancement: Your growth is our priority. CPA or CA certification is essential.Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a strong track record in managing complex financial tasks and client relationships.Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero and Class Trust, is preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.Client-Centric: Experience working with clients in a professional services environment is highly valued.
