Senior Accountant - 2-3 Days Per Week

Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) My client is a well-established boutique builder based in Melbourne's south east.
Now seeking a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to join the team on a part-time basis.
This role will involve working closely with the Company Directors to be the first point of contact for all financial affairs of the business - and take total control of tasks such as completing month-end, all reporting including statutory reports, managing the asset register, project/job costing, and WIPs, as well as fulfilling tax obligations.
Prior experience in the Construction industry is essential for this position.
This position will best suit someone seeking part-time arrangements (2 to 3 days has been suggested but is potentially negotiable for the right individual) and wants to be part of a small-to-medium sized business as they continue to develop and grow. This position will see the right candidate ultimately responsible for putting shape on the financial processes for the business, so a proactive nature and hands-on approach to work is a must.
It's integral to be part of the office and part of the team, so candidates must be willing and able to work in the office based in Braeside in Melbourne's South East - Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from remote candidates at this time.
