About Us: Dentsu Creative Public Relations is a full-service agency that combines the strengths of legacy brands like Haystac (consumer and brand), Cox Inall (behaviour change, corporate and agribusiness), and Cox Inall Ridgeway (First Nations) into a cohesive agency offering.
The Role: As the Senior Account Manager, you will take charge of managing day-to-day client work within our team supporting our newly acquired automotive brand.
This includes traditional earned media, influencer relationships, and crafting impactful narratives specific to the automotive landscape.
You will develop effective pitching strategies, foster strong media relationships, and stay attuned to trends in the automotive sector.
In this role, you will ensure high-quality execution of tasks, adherence to deadlines and budgets, and the delivery of exceptional results that delight our clients.
You'll work closely with leadership to strengthen our partnerships across Australia expanding your network through exciting opportunities within the Dentsu Group.
Core Responsibilities: Provide expert counsel to clients and nurture key relationships in the automotive sector. Oversee a variety of communication programs tailored to meet client objectives within the automotive space. Create plans, proposals, results reports, and communications documents specific to automotive narratives. Drive the team to deliver media releases, pitch notes, and impactful automotive content. Lead and manage a talented team, collaborating effectively across various divisions. Manage client finances in coordination with the Group Business Director, Account Director and finance team, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Maintain regular communication with key client stakeholders, actively seeking feedback on team performance. A Bit About You: Proven success in Automotive PR with a strong background in earned media; newsroom experience is a plus. Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to cultivate genuine connections with clients in the automotive industry. Deep understanding of news dynamics, capable of developing compelling automotive story angles and pitching effectively to media. Highly skilled in diverse PR services, including storytelling, media relations, and tailored copywriting for automotive audiences. Extensive knowledge of the media landscape, with experience managing automotive media relations campaigns independently. PR experience in a Manager role, showcasing your expertise in writing strategies, social copy, and media releases.
