The Opportunity Position Overview In this role, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for IT roles across government departments, agencies, and projects within Queensland.
You'll engage with clients to understand their needs, source and place top IT talent, and support candidates through the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with government clients to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with departmental goals.
Talent Acquisition: Identify, engage, and assess IT professionals with skills relevant to government sector roles, focusing on project management, cybersecurity, data analysis, and software development.
Candidate Management: Guide candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to interview preparation and post-placement support.
Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices within the IT government sector.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to government recruitment protocols and prepare timely reports for both clients and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within IT and/or the public sector.
Knowledge of the Queensland Government Landscape: Familiarity with government processes, procurement frameworks, and the public sector hiring landscape is highly desirable.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, both written and verbal.
Tech Savvy: Proficient with recruitment software and digital sourcing tools, with a good understanding of IT roles and technical skills.
Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and a client-first mindset.
