Senior Account Manager I Chemical Industry OPPORTUNITY Our client is a well-established, reputable Australian business that has been trading for nearly 40 years. They are a rapidly growing manufacturer and supplier of chemicals that supplies to various market sectors throughout Australia including the Agricultural, Mining, Industrial & Commercial markets. Based in the office located in the Southern Suburbs of Perth, while occasionally working out in the field you'll also be tasked with developing the chemical business by following proven sales practices; to which plenty of resources and help from your Sales Manager and Marketing team will enable you to do so effectively. Primary responsibilities include: Managing key stakeholder relationships Strategically planning your territory Developing upon a pipeline of existing opportunities Co-ordinating and executing key selling activities Winning new business in line with our client's ideal customer / freight profile Maintaining a sales forecast Achieving to sales plan BENEFITS • Up to $120,000 base salary dep. on exp• Fully maintained vehicle inc fuel• Uncapped bonus structure (based on existing and new business)• Working flexibility• Established footprint in WA to leverage from• Extensive product training & onboarding program CANDIDATE In order to be considered for this role, it's essential you have prior business-to-business (B2 B) sales experience. Ideally, your experience has been obtained selling chemicals, either raw chemicals or finished goods would work. Alternatively, you may have a background in Science (Chemistry or similar) with ANY sort of B2 B sales experience and are interested in moving into the Chemical Industry.Supporting tertiary qualifications in Science i.e. Chemical Engineering and/or Chemistry is desirable, but not essential.
