Exciting opportunity available for Senior Access Planning Coordinator. You will manage scheduling, coordination, and execution of planned outages across electricity distribution and sub-transmission networks.
Your goal will be to ensure the safety of personnel, the public, and the plant, while achieving organizational targets, reducing costs, minimizing rework, and maintaining customer supply reliability.

With a Hybrid split, this role can be based in any of our major depots and is part of the Access & Outage Planning Team
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
Facilitate safe and secure access to the network for planned works, such as maintenance or asset installation Utilise detailed knowledge of network operations, switching arrangements, and network topology Schedule and coordinate network access requests across electricity distribution and sub-transmission networks Create, evaluate, and submit high-quality, accurate, and effective switching schedules for both planned and emergency works Review and approve simple and complex network access applications and switching schedules Collaborate with field resources, HV customers, and other authorities to ensure effective planning of network access requests Assess, develop, and submit customer outage notifications, ensuring minimal impact on customer supply reliability You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
Proven expertise and understanding of Electricity Distribution & sub-transmission Network elements, including operational policies, procedures, reporting, and codes of practice. Developed electrical operational knowledge for writing and implementing switching schedules, combined with experience in Distribution Management Systems to ensure safe access to the network. Demonstrated knowledge of the Code of Practice on Electrical Safety in the VESI (The Blue/Green Book), supplementary instructions, operating principles, procedures, and practices, or relevant experience in a VESI environment. Strong understanding of construction, maintenance, and testing activities associated with system plant. Experience in stakeholder management, particularly in liaising with entities with high voltage connections. Qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering, Electrical trade, or comparable industry experience is highly desirable Experience in developing and implementing new procedures to improve network operations and safety A real place to belong
