Fixed term, full-time appointment (to July 2025)Level 8/9: $113,063 - $140,279 pa + 17% SuperannuationThe Senior Academic Governance Specialist plays a crucial role within the University of Wollongong, overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of academic governance policies and frameworks.
Reporting to the Associate Director (Governance), this position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering excellence in academic governance practices, and supporting effective decision-making processes. The Senior Academic Governance Specialist holds key responsibilities in overseeing the fair, transparent, and efficient conduct of university elections at the University of Wollongong. The position plays a vital role in upholding democratic principles, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of civic responsibility and engagement among staff, students, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to upholding the University's Governance Review Framework.
